What the software actually costs at your crew size
Most comparison pages quote one “starting at” price. That hides the thing that decides your bill: how the price grows as you add people. Below is the same three products worked out at four crew sizes, from each vendor's official pricing page, checked 2026-11-06.
How to read these numbers
Jobber figures are the per-month equivalent when billed annually (paying month-to-month costs more). Yardbook is one flat monthly price at every crew size. QuoteIQ charges by plan, with extra users at $25/user/month. Figures marked “calculated” are simple arithmetic on those official rates, shown so you can see the math — always confirm on the vendor's page before buying.
| Crew size | Yardbook | Jobber | QuoteIQ |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 person | $0 (Starter) or $34.99 (Business) | $29 — Core, billed annually ($49 month-to-month) | $29.99 — Essentials (1 user) |
| 2 people | $0 (Starter) or $34.99 (Business) — flat | $149 — Connect, 5-user band, billed annually (Core is 1 user only) | $99.99 — Beginner (2 users included) |
| 5 people | $34.99 (Business) — flat | $149 — Connect, 5-user band, billed annually | $224.99 — calculated: Pro (4 users) $199.99 + 1 extra user $25 |
| 10 people | $49.99 (Enterprise) — flat | $229 — Connect, 10-user band, billed annually | $299.99 — Elite (10 users included) |
What this means in plain terms
- Solo and staying solo: all three start around $0–$30/month. Yardbook is the only one with a free plan.
- Adding your first helper is where prices split: Yardbook doesn't move, QuoteIQ roughly triples, and Jobber jumps to its 5-user band even for a crew of two.
- At 5–10 people the flat-price model is cheapest on price alone — but price is not the whole decision. Features, apps and support still have to be verified for your workflow; this site does not claim hands-on testing of any product.
